Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis is a common and often debilitating condition characterized by inflammation of the plantar fascia, the thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of the foot, connecting the heel bone to the toes. This condition typically causes stabbing pain in the heel, which is often most severe with the first steps taken in the morning or after long periods of inactivity. As the day progresses and the foot limbers up, the pain might decrease but can return after long periods of standing or after getting up from sitting. The persistent pain and discomfort can significantly affect daily activities, making walking or standing for extended periods challenging and frustrating. At our office, we adopt a comprehensive and personalized approach to evaluating and treating plantar fasciitis. We utilize a variety of advanced techniques designed to alleviate pain, promote healing, and restore function including massage therapy, chiropractic adjustments, class IV laser light therapy, radial shockwave therapy, and therapeutic exercise. By combining these diverse treatments, our office aims to provide a conservative and effective approach to managing and alleviating plantar fasciitis. Our goal is to help patients achieve lasting relief, improved function, and a higher quality of life through personalized, comprehensive care.
