Workplace Injuries

Workplace injuries are a common occurrence in our state for a variety of reasons. Many of the jobs that Alaskans work require a lot of physical effort and have higher levels risk for slips, falls, auto/heavy machinery accidents and other injuries. We focus on getting you back to work as soon as possible with little or no residual effects from your injury. If you experience an injury while at work, notify your boss or company’s human resources department immediately. An acute injury, if not properly treated, can lead to a long term chronic issues that may threaten your ability to work. You don’t have to suffer a direct blow or traumatic event to have an injury at work. Long term stressors such as repetitive motion injuries are also extremely common in the workplace.
